Diamond Clarity

A diamond’s clarity is the measurement of the quantity of imperfections along with the magnitude of which occur in all diamonds. This may serve as a surprise but is not something that affects a diamond’s appearance to a significant extent, making this one of the lesser important aspects of the diamond itself. The clarity of the diamond simply describes the tiny natural imperfections that can occur in the finest diamonds. There is a grading system, which ranks the diamonds from the least, and smallest imperfections to the higher grades.

Similar to being present on the skin, a blemish refers to the imperfections that can be present on a gemstone, or diamond. Diamonds with the smallest amount of imperfections, and those that are sold by Wonder Jewelers, receive the highest of the clarity grades. The best advice in terms of choosing your clarity is to choose what is the cleanest to the naked eye. For example, if you select a diamond with an SI1 or SI2 grading this may turn out to be very visually appealing and attained at a better price, as long as a diamond expert properly inspects the stone beforehand.
